Beng C.Eng MICE. FIEM P.Eng - University of Malaya (Malaysia) Paul has over 25 years of tourism experience in Borneo. A pioneer in the tourism industry, he was instrumental in creating many of the tours that are sold today. His portfolio in tourism includes Sales and Marketing Director, Chairman of STGA, Vice Chairman of Sabah Tourist Association, Tourism Lecturer, Editor of "Exotic Borneo" & representing Sabah in the National Tourism Association (MATTA). He now leads Exotic Borneo as Chairman in its commitment to excellence.

MS. CHERYL WANG-SHIM    Executive Director

BA Hons Economic (Magna cum laude) - Tufts University, Boston (USA) Japanese Language (Advance) - Nanzan University ( Japan) Having worked in USA & Japan and traveled extensively worldwide, Cheryl uses her understanding of the international traveler to build Exotic Borneo into a company that will serve her customers with international standards of professionalism & efficiency. With over 8 years experience, Cheryl has managed over 1000 tourists taking tours at the same time and pioneered new destinations for group of over 200 person to remote areas such as Kudat, Lahad Datu and Bintulu.

MR. MARTIN SHIM    Director of Sales & Marketing

BSc Horticulture - Quelph University (Canada) Martin joins the team with vast marketing experience in Borneo and Indonesia. He travels abroad annually to promote Borneo as a premier tourism destination. He also oversees the customer service and operation team to ensure customer satisfaction and prompt service. With an ardent interest in plants and animals, Martin uses his knowledge to create unique and adventurous tours such as the Mangrove Nature walk tour, Botanical Tour, Kayaking, Jungle Trekking etc.

MS. BEATRICE MEI WANG-GOH    Event Manager

BA International Relations - Mt. Holyoke (MA, USA) Japanese Language - International Christian University ( Japan) Mei has over 15 years experience managing a tour company previously which won many prestigious gold awards. With her vast experience in administration and handling incentives / conferences, cruise ships and special interest groups, Mei ensure professionalism in all areas. She pays attention to minute details to ensure personalized service and a memorable experience.

MR. HORI HIROSHI    Japanese Manager

BSc MSc Earth Science - Hirosaki University (Japan) Hori has a master degree in Earth Science and carries with him a wealth of over 15 years experience handling expeditions and rock climbing in Japan, Alaska, Afria can the Himalayas (including Mt. Everest). In 1995, Hori came to Sabah to oversee Exotic Borneo's Japanese department and all mountaineering groups. As a perfectionists, Hori plans every minute detail to ensure a personalized and enjoyable itinerary for each individual. In 1997, he was awarded the title of "Bintang Setia Kinabalu" by the Governor of Sabah for his contribution in scaling Mt. Kinabalu.
